VIDEO RECIPE: Double Peanut Butter Ice Cream

July is National Ice Cream Month! Celebrate by making this super easy and super tasty treat! Our recipe uses only four ingredients and there’s no cooking required. Take your summer up a notch and make this peanut butter ice cream combined with chopped roasted peanuts.

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total time: 25 minutes (plus chilling)
Yield: 1 quart of ice cream

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Smooth Operator peanut butter, divided
1 cup sugar
3 cups cold half-and-half
1/2 cup chopped roasted salted peanuts

Directions

1. Combine 1 cup peanut butter, sugar and half-and-half in a blender. Blend until smooth.

2. Freeze ice cream in ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions. Just as the ice cream is almost finished churning, heat remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter in microwave just until softened and pourable, about 1 minute. Fold peanut butter and peanuts into ice cream and transfer to a container to freeze completely.
