Lee first encountered gianduja when traveling in Europe. It’s an Italian spread made with hazelnuts, cocoa, and skim milk. It’s a staple all over Europe where they eat it like, well, peanut butter! We liked it so much that we decided to make a better-for-you version of it ourselves–Chocmeister! This is a rich and decadent sandwich that many people eat for dessert, not lunch, since it tastes like a peanut butter cup! The Crunch Time peanut butter really gives the sandwich terrific texture.
Total time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1 serving
- 1. Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread, and the Chocmeister on the other.
- 2. Place the two slices together and slice in half diagonally.
