Supplies

bundt pan

Ingredients

2 (15 oz) cans buttermilk biscuits

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

2 cups Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolatey Dreams

3/4 cup salted butter

1 cup dark brown sugar

Shortening to grease

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F. Thoroughly grease a metal bundt pan with shortening. On a cutting board dice each biscuit into four quarters, then transfer to a large mixing bowl. In another, small mixing bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon until well mixed. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the quartered biscuits, then toss until all pieces are evenly coated.

  2. Layer half the sugared biscuits into the greased bundt pan, then top with dollops of Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolatey Dreams to create a ring. I used about 1 – 1 1/4 cups peanut butter here, for reference. Cover the Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolatey Dreams with the remaining biscuits.

  3. In a small saucepan melt the butter over a medium-low flame, then whisk in the brown sugar until smooth. Evenly pour this mixture over the biscuits, then bake on oven middle rack for 30 minutes until browned and cooked through. Allow the monkey bread to cool thoroughly (30 minutes or so), then flip over onto a cake plate.

  4. Lastly melt the remaining ¾ – 1 cup of Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolatey Dreams in the microwave for 10 – 15 seconds, then drizzle over the monkey bread. Immediately eat!
