VIDEO RECIPE: Stuffed Peanut Butter Burgers
Bite into this burger and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the warm, melty peanut butter center!
The gooey peanut butter filling in these stuffed burgers is made by forming ground sirloin patties around frozen balls of peanut butter! As they’re grilled the frozen center melts to create a creamy like sauce that pairs deliciously with the rich ground beef.

- Total Time:20 Minutes (Plus freezing the peanut butter)
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
½ tsp. chili powder
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 pound ground sirloin
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted if desired
Tomato slices, onion and lettuce, for serving
In a small bowl, stir together peanut butter, garlic and chili powder. Using a rounded tablespoon measure or a small cookie scoop, portion mixture into 4 balls. Transfer peanut butter to a wax-paper-lined plate and place in freezer. Freeze peanut butter fillings until firm, about 30 minutes.
Preheat grill pan to medium-high. Form patties with beef around peanut butter, pressing to flatten. Season both sides of patties generously with salt and pepper. Grill, turning once with a spatula, about 8 to 10 minutes for medium-rare. Serve burgers on buns topped with tomato, onion and lettuce.
