VIDEO RECIPE: Slow Cooker Peanut Butter Pulled Pork Recipe

This crowd-pleasing recipe is great for cold wintry nights and even for special occasions. It’s also super easy; all you have to do is add all the ingredients to the slow cooker and let it do its thing! The leftovers are just as tasty, and are perfect for sandwiches and tacos!

  • Yield:8-10 servings (about 8 cups pulled meat – 1 cup pork can top one big sweet potato half or two smaller potato halves)
  • Prep Time:5 minutes
  • Cook Time:4 hours
  • Total Time:4 hours 5 minutes

Ingredients

2 pork tenderloins (about 2 pounds total), cut into 4 pieces each

1 (20-ounce) bottle ketchup (about 2 cups)

1 garlic clove, smashed

1/2 cup Peanut Butter & Co. The Bee’s Knees

2 tablespoons dark brown sugar

1 tablespoon dried mustard

2 tablespoons cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons hot sauce, such as Tabasco

8 baked sweet potatoes, each sliced into two halves, for serving

Directions

  1. In the crock of a 4 to the 6-quart slow cooker, combine ketchup, garlic, peanut butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, vinegar, mustard, and 1 1/2 cups water. Season with salt and pepper. Add pork. Cover dish and cook on HIGH setting for 4 hours.*

  2. Shred pork using a fork and serve over warm baked sweet potatoes.

Cook Notes

* You may also use the LOW setting and cook it for 8 hours.
