Supplies

Electric Mixer

Ingredients

1¼ cups all-purpose flour spooned and leveled

¾ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature

1 cup Peanut Butter & Co. Smooth Operator

¾ cup granulated sugar

¾ cup packed light brown sugar

1 large egg

2 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 (12-ounce bag) semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to combine; set aside.

  2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine butter, Peanut Butter & Co. Smooth Operator, and sugars. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add egg and mix until incorporated, then milk and extract. With the mixer on low speed, gradually add flour mixture just until combined.

  3. Using a cookie scoop or 1/4 cup dry measuring cup, portion dough and transfer to parchment-lined baking sheets (about 4 per sheet). Bake until cookies are fragrant and beginning to brown on the edges, about 16 minutes. Let cookies cool 5 minutes on baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
