VIDEO RECIPE: Maple Peanut Butter Glazed Spiral Ham


Bring a precooked spiral ham to the next level of delightfulness with this maple peanut butter glaze made with only a few ingredients including maple syrup, Peanut Butter & Co Mighty Maple, and butter. The sweet glaze is poured over the ham after it has sat in the oven for an hour. The caramelized glaze pairs deliciously with the salty ham for a delicious balance of flavors.

Ingredients

1 half bone-in spiral ham (about 7-8lbs) 

1 cup water 


For the glaze: 

¼ cup maple syrup 

¼ cup Peanut Butter & Co Mighty Maple

4 tbsp. unsalted butter 

1 tsp. kosher salt 

½ cup water 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Place ham and 1 cup water in roasting pan. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour, until heated through. 

  2. In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, Peanut Butter & Co Mighty Maple, butter, salt, and ½ cup water, and bring to a simmer until melted and smooth, then remove from heat.

  3.  Raise oven to 400°F. Remove foil from ham, pour on glaze, and return to oven uncovered for about 20 minutes or until glaze is caramelized. Let rest 15 minutes before serving.
