Peanut Butter & Co. Smooth Operator Hot Chocolate

This hot chocolate is thick, creamy, and ready in less than 10 minutes, making it an easy treat for the whole family to enjoy. If you love chocolate peanut butter cups, then this is just like drinking one from a straw. Top your cup with whipped cream, sprinkles, marshmallows, or more peanut butter – there’s no wrong way to enjoy it!

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups skim milk
1 cup half & half
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup Peanut Butter & Co. Smooth Operator
a pinch or two of salt (optional)
whipped cream and sprinkles for serving (optional)
Directions
In a small saucepan bring the skim milk and half & half to a simmer over a medium-low flame. Do not let it reach a boil.
As the milk begins to bubble and steam, add in the chocolate chips and vanilla, whisking until smooth. Reduce flame to low, then lastly add in the peanut butter, again whisking until well combined. At this point you can add a pinch of salt– Taste test for your preference.
When ready, transfer hot chocolate to a large mug. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles, then immediately drink!
