National PB&J Day “Grab a Spoon!” Food Truck Celebration
Calling all peanut butter-loving New Yorkers! Tuesday, April 2 is National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day and Peanut Butter & Co. invites you to celebrate and "Grab a Spoon!"
Join us on April 2, 2019 from 12pm to 6pm in Union Square at East 17th Street and Broadway, diagonally across from Union Square Park, and stop by our orange food truck to make your own FREE peanut butter snack spoon! Choose one of our delicious peanut or almond butters and pick from tons of toppings like chocolate chips, fruit, coconut, honey, sprinkles, pretzels, and more - the possibilities are endless! Your spoon creation will be served on an engraved, stainless steel “My Peanut Butter Spoon” – yours to keep!
Carla Hall will join us from 12pm to 1pm to kick off the day. Carla was an adored co-host of The Chew, a competitor on Top Chef and Top Chef: All Stars and is the author of Carla Hall's Soul Food: Everyday and Celebration.
This event supports Food Bank For New York City and while there is no charge for the samples, donations are encouraged. Peanut Butter & Co. will also donate 25,000 spoonfuls of peanut butter to Food Bank For New York City (that’s about 900 jars!).
