Introducing Cinnamon Swirl
It’s with mixed feelings here at Peanut Butter & Co that today we’re announcing the retirement of one of our most beloved flavors, Cinnamon Raisin Swirl. Enjoyed on apples, bagels, and straight from the jar for over 20 years; Cinnamon Raisin Swirl will be stepping aside to introduce our new raisin-free version, Cinnamon Swirl.
Here’s the backstory that led to this decision: the impact of Covid-19 on the food industry has been substantial. As a result of the pandemic, our manufacturing facility made some changes to improve health & safety for the team that makes our peanut butter. As part of some of the equipment changes, we unfortunately lost the ability to add raisins to our peanut butter. We know we have a lot of Cinnamon Raisin Swirl fans in our family of peanut butter lovers, and we didn’t want to abandon you, so we pivoted to offer Cinnamon Swirl.
We know some of our customers will be disappointed about this news, and we understand that and are truly sorry. We hope you might consider pairing our new Cinnamon Swirl with your favorite brand of raisins at home and share a picture with us on Instagram or Facebook.
And if you like cinnamon, but aren’t a raisin lover, well maybe you just found your new favorite peanut butter!
