Celebrating Pride Month with Collaborations, Peanut Butter, and Lots of Love

Celebrating Pride Month with Collaborations, Peanut Butter, and Lots of Love

June is known around the world as Pride Month, and is a time to celebrate diversity, identity, and acceptance. For us at Peanut Butter & Co, it's also an opportunity to shine a light on other LGBTQ+ owned brands. This year, we were fortunate enough to partner with three outstanding – Shaquanda Will Feed You, A Friendly Bread, and Mike and Jen's, to offer you a series of mouthwatering, unique recipes and snack ideas that spotlight the diversity, strength, and creativity of our community.

Our Collaborations

A Spicy Twist with Shaquanda's

Our first collaboration introduced a spicy twist to classic peanut butter toast. We partnered with Shaquanda's, known for their delicious and fiery hot sauces. The result? A savory and spicy peanut butter toast that married the creaminess of our peanut butter and the heat from Shaquanda's hot sauce. Witness the creation of this fiery delight on our Instagram Reel here.

Lunchtime Treats with A Friendly Bread

For our second collaboration, we teamed up with A Friendly Bread, a brand that crafts artisan sourdough bread and pairs it with real cheese to make delectable frozen grilled cheese sandwiches - just heat and serve! We paired their Cinnamon Raisin & Brie grilled cheese with crisp apple slices and our Cinnamon Swirl peanut butter. Watch how we put together this delightful lunch treat on our Instagram Reel here.

Peanut Butter Meets Iced Hot Cocoa with Mike and Jen's

Our final collaboration saw us join hands with Mike and Jen's, a brand known for their heavenly hot cocoa mix. We used their rich and creamy hot cocoa mix to make a delicious chocolatey frozen drink, drizzled with peanut butter and served with our peanut butter cookies for dunking. Check out our Instagram Reel here to see this delightful duo in action.

The Importance of Pride Month and Supporting LGBTQ+ Owned Brands

Pride Month is an essential time to recognize and celebrate the contributions and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. But the best way to support our community is to do so year round. One way to do that is to support LGBTQ+ businesses! Other ways include supporting your local LGBTQ+ community center, mentoring LGBTQ+ youth, and being an ally at school or work. We hope you'll join us in keeping the spirit of Pride Month alive throughout the year, and let's do it over delicious food and shared tables. After all, love always triumphs, (and so does great peanut butter)!

Thank you for being a part of our journey and for supporting us and other LGBTQ+ owned brands. Happy Pride!
