NutriBullet Guest Post: Five Healthy Peanut Butter Smoothies to Start Your Day
Our friends at NutriBullet are using our peanut powder in their healthy eating initiative, NutriBullet University. They sent along some of their favorite ways to use powdered peanut butter–and FYI, you can sub peanut powder in anything where you use regular peanut butter!
Berry Protein Smoothie
At NutriBullet, we love our Peanut Butter & Co. peanut powder! It gives us all the peanut butter flavors without the traditional peanut butter that sticks to the sides of our blender! We have tried this delicious protein smoothie with collegiate athletes, with dietitians, and with students in NutriBullet University and the verdict is unanimous! This peanut butter treat has a beautiful purple hue but it is high in plant-based protein making it a great smoothie for all types of athletes, anyone who fear anything green or someone who is trying to lose weight. This perfectly balanced smoothie contains a balance mix of carbohydrates, proteins and fats to energize you for the day!
Peanut Butter and Jelly Blast
Need a blast from the past with a grown-up flare? Try this PB&J inspired smoothie that is low in sugar and high in vitamins and minerals. We encourage our NutriBullet fans and students to add ingredients that not only tastes good but also repairs you from the inside out. Beets can help support healthy blood flow and helps lower inflammation while raspberries are low in sugar, high in fiber, and contains powerful antioxidants that has been associated with memory improvement to slow cognitive decline. We suggest adding a scoop ofFlax & Chia peanut powder for added healthy fats and fiber making this smoothie more satisfying than any other PB&J sandwich!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Blast
A chocolate fan who is not willing to let go delicious foods for your next diet? Me neither! Whether you are adding cacao powder to this smoothie or replacing it with cocoa peanut powder, this added chocolaty smoothie has all the decadent flavors without the added sugars! If you are a fan of PB & Banana sandwiches, this is one smoothie that you must try!
Chocolate Avocado Pudding
Peanut butter is not only a terrific addition to your smoothie or your childhood favorite sandwiches but it’s an excellent dessert ingredient! This chocolate avocado pudding is thick and luscious and chock full of healthy fats from avocado and peanut butter powder! The added touch of honey gives all the sweetness you need to this decadent dessert. Honey is not only sweet but it contains anti-microbial properties to support your immune system with healing properties!
Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie Bowl
Tired of a liquid meal but still looking for a high-quality breakfast? Try a smoothie bowl! This smoothie bowl is excellent way to let your creativity shine by adding some of your favorite toppings! The added cinnamon flavor brings out the sweetness flavor while boosting your metabolism and reducing your insulin resistance. Kids, big and little, love building their own smoothie.
